Common questions

What's free, and what does Pro add?

Every feature is free for up to 5 people: notes, dictation, summaries, "Prep me" briefings, and reminders. Recall Pro removes the limit, so you can keep notes on as many people as you like.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Recall, then tap Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. You can also get there from Recall's Settings → Manage subscription.

I paid but I don't have Pro

Open Recall's Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Recall account and the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. If it still doesn't work, email us.

Dictation isn't working

Check that Recall is allowed to use the microphone and speech recognition in iPhone Settings → Recall. Dictation works best in a quiet place. You can always switch to typing on the note screen.

I'm not getting reminders

Make sure notifications are on for Recall in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Recall, and that the person has "Remind me to reach out" turned on. Adding a note resets that person's reminder.

Is my data private?

Your notes belong to your account only. We never sell your data or show ads, and Recall never stores voice recordings. Read the full Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Open Recall's Settings and tap Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, people, and notes. It doesn't cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that separately in iPhone Settings.
